How Often Should You Test? 📆

Annual Periodic Inspection

Performed annually, this inspection involves checking for any non-compliance issues and involves a full-duration drain-down test (usually taking a minimum of 3 hours to complete).

6-Month Inspection

The 6-month inspection is to visually check for any indicators that the system isn't fully operational, the batteries still operate & the luminaires are clean & unobstructed.

Monthly Tests

These are usually carried out in-house, but can be outsourced to a competent electrician if required. It's recommended to test emergency light operation for a period that would allow for anyone on site to safely exit the building.
